Additional Information

FITMENT GM application: Saturn VUE equipped with the Honda‑sourced 3.5L J‑series V6 (RPO L66) used for model years 2004–2007 (including Red Line; FWD/AWD). Saturn VUE (2004-2007): 3.5L V6 (Honda J35, RPO L66)
SYMPTOMS Typical failure symptoms include rough idle, hesitation, reduced power, poor fuel economy, and illuminated MIL with misfire codes P0300–P0306 or coil circuit codes P0351–P0356.
TROUBLESHOOTING Swap the suspected coil to another cylinder to see if the misfire follows. Inspect spark plug wells for oil (valve cover tube seal leaks are common on J‑series). Verify good coil power/ground and 3‑pin connector fit; check for corrosion on terminals.
INSTALLATION Disconnect battery, remove engine cover, unplug coil, remove hold‑down bolt, and pull the coil straight up. Lightly apply dielectric grease to the boot. Typical J‑series ignition coil hold‑down bolt torque is about 12 N·m (8.7 lb‑ft). Reconnect and clear DTCs, then road test.
