Why Bosch belongs on your car.

Bosch invented the automotive oxygen sensor, and its aftermarket O2 sensors are produced on the same production lines as the sensors it supplies to automakers, designed and tested to last 150,000 miles. Its QuietCast Premium brake pads pair OE-style rubber-core shims for lower noise with a powder-coated backing plate that resists rust and corrosion. Here you will find more than 5,800 Bosch parts, from brake pads and rotors to alternators, starters, spark plugs, and wiper blades.

Built on OE production lines

Bosch aftermarket oxygen sensors come off the same lines as the sensors it builds for automakers.

Quieter stops

QuietCast pads use a molded rubber-core shim that stays attached for the life of the pad.

Made to resist rust

A powder-coated backing plate on QuietCast pads fights rust and corrosion for longer pad life.

What people ask before they buy Bosch.

Eight answers covering brake noise, oxygen sensors, fitment, and how Bosch compares to the original part.

01

Are Bosch parts as good as the original equipment?

Bosch supplies original equipment to automakers, and it says its aftermarket oxygen sensors are produced on the same production lines as its OE sensors. Its QuietCast Premium brake pads are direct fit and designed to match the OE style. Check the product page for the details on a specific part.

02

What Bosch parts can I buy here?

More than 5,800 Bosch parts, led by brake pads, brake rotors, oxygen sensors, alternators and starters, spark plugs, and wiper blades. Disc brake pad sets are the largest line, with more than 1,700 of them.

03

Will Bosch QuietCast brake pads stop the squeal?

They are built to cut brake noise. QuietCast Premium pads use OE-style rubber-core shims, molded so the shim stays attached for the life of the pad, plus a powder-coated backing plate against rust and copper-free friction material, with synthetic lubricant included for installation. Noise can also come from worn rotors or hardware, so check those while the wheel is off. Browse every Bosch brake pad we carry.

04

How long do Bosch oxygen sensors last?

Bosch says its oxygen sensors are designed and tested to last 150,000 miles. A failing sensor is a common cause of a check engine light, so if yours has been diagnosed, browse every Bosch oxygen and air/fuel ratio sensor we carry.

05

What is the difference between an oxygen sensor and an air/fuel ratio sensor?

Both read oxygen in the exhaust so the engine computer can adjust fuel delivery. A conventional oxygen sensor signals whether the mixture is rich or lean, while a wideband air/fuel ratio sensor sends a signal proportional to the amount of oxygen in the exhaust. The two are not interchangeable, so replace a sensor with the type your vehicle was built with.

06

How do I know a Bosch part fits my vehicle?

Fitment is set part number by part number, so your own vehicle is the only reliable test. Add your year, make, and model with the Search by Vehicle tool, then check the fitment confirmation on the product page before the part goes in your cart.

07

Who makes Bosch parts?

Robert Bosch, the company that invented the automotive oxygen sensor. It was founded in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1886, and Bosch says its aftermarket oxygen sensors combine American manufacturing with American and German engineering.
